*FREEBIE* Poetry With Lincoln!

Product Description:
Your students are sure to love this resource as they complete a study on the life of Abraham Lincoln. Students are asked to take Abraham Lincoln's name and construct an acrostic with each letter of his name. As well, at the bottom of the printable, students are to create a Haiku and are reminded of the pattern for this type of poetry! Students will have a great time with a $100.00 budget to spend on the 100th day of school. Utilize this resource to have fun with sale circulars and a shopping list to spend $100.00 on the 100th day of school.

It’s the 100th day of school! In this resource, students are given $100.00 to spend with sample ad circulars. As well, there are two shopping lists provided in the packet. Students use the following ads and prepare their budget! Students are asked: "What do you think that you need to purchase on the 100th day of school? 100th Day of School Approaching!

I have uploaded a resource this morning that I think your students will enjoy! The 100th day of school is approaching for most of us educators this next week of school. Have lots of fun teaching and learning with all of these writing activities that lend themselves for further writing, investigation, and research!

As the 100th day of school approaches, get all of your students excited about what they have already accomplished this school year as well as what is in store for them for the rest of the school year. Happy January!

Christmas Break is Officially Over!

Good Evening All,

Before I head to bed, I wanted to upload this pennant for you all to use with your students! They are sure to enjoy! It is perfect to get them "back in the groove" of school!

Product Description:
This pennant is sure to get your students back in the groove of school after the Christmas break. On the pennant, students are asked to write a five to seven sentence paragraph about what they did over their Christmas break. Also, they are asked what was their most favorite present and who did they receive it from. Also, they are asked if they traveled anywhere during Christmas break and if so, where did they travel? Finally, on the perimeters of the pennant, students are asked to write an acrostic for winter as well as create a shape poem for a snowman! Students are sure to enjoy this activity as they "get in the groove" of school again in January!

It's Raining Cats and Dogs!

Good Afternoon All,

While it has been raining SO HARD this afternoon, I have put together a training presentation to help with accommodation ideas for challenges presented by ADHD/ADD/LD students. This will be a great source of material for everyone to use to heighten your skills!

These eleven slides will serve as excellent material to use for training in terms of a focused faculty meeting, a professional development session, a parent conference, a Parent University forum, or simply a professional learning community for teachers. Happy New Year Everyone!

Good Morning Everyone!

Happy New Year! As I sit here watching the Rose Bowl Parade and reflecting on 2014, I am looking forward to a very healthy and productive 2015 and all it has to offer! I wanted to let everyone know that I have uploaded two additional new resources. Both of these resources are informational text articles -- one article is expository text regarding the "Home Alone" mansion and it being on the real estate market. Kids will love to read about this famous house that so many of them have watched in the iconic movie! As well, just this morning, I finished another informational text article about the 50th anniversary of the famous series, "The Love Boat!" So, many of us can relate to this wonderful show. The original crew is making an appearance in the Rose Bowl Parade this morning on a beautiful float! Each of these resources has a formative quiz with ten questions. Your students are sure to be engaged in interesting text! Again, Happy New Year!
